As soon as someone mentions Baskin-Robbins, our brain immediately fills up with the images of scoop after scoop of delicious ice cream flavors.

If it doesn’t then you have not tried their ice cream yet.

Many of us (Pakistanis) were not aware of this ice-cream heaven. Until October 11th, that is, when the store finally opened its doors to the general public of Lahore, and everyone went bonkers.

The Bribe before launch

The launch of Baskin-Robbin’s store in Packages Mall, Lahore was a glorified event.

The franchise that has over 7900 retail shops in over 52 countries (talk about a global company), decided to tempt the Lahori’s with an offer they just could not pass up. The marketing team introduced:

a whole year of free Baskin-Robbins ice-cream supply to the first 32 customers at the store.

Yes, you read it right, an entire year of freaking ice-cream free of cost!

As if just opening Baskin-Robbins in Lahore was not a bribe enough for Lahoris.

So it was only rational that throngs of people lined up at the shop. They sure do know how to get Lahore’s attention.

The ice-cream cafe will be offering its original 31 flavors with the exclusive

  • Pralines n’ Cream
  • Very Berry Strawberry
  • Jamoca Almond Fudge
  • Mint Chocolate Chip

While introducing some new flavors inspired by the region like

  • Mango Tango
  • Tiramisu.

Since its inception way back in 1945, the ice-cream chain has introduced over a thousand ice-cream flavors in their worldwide locations (We can’t even name that many tbh).

It will be offering ice-cream shakes, sundaes, cakes, take home ice-cream containers and frozen glasses of dreams (or beverages as some like to call them).
